Accounting..Sesuatu Bangetkah?

One day, one of my students came to me and said, "Sir, does accounting mean something?" Then I said, "Of course. It is sesuatu banget..." wkwkwkwk:D.. So.. via this blog, I will explain you how "sesuatu banget" accounting is. I'll answer in a fun and entertaining manner but still educating for you.. Garing" dikit gpp lah y.. Ok lah kl begitu, langsung saja kita mulai...


Opening Your Mind
Just imagine.. next ten years from now, you will have your own company with billions dollars of money, thousands of workers, some managers, cool headquarter office, thousands stocks of share, and well-known and branded products. But imagine, if you know nothing about accounting. You don't know what's the best price for your products, which area is the most profitable, which market is potential. Even, you don't know if your company get profit or loss because you can't read financial statement. That's embarassing (LOL).
Maybe you say, "My employees can read it for me." Ya they will, but they will trick you if you know nothing about accounting. So, the first benefit learning accounting is you won't be embarassed as the owner.. LOL:D.. Just kidding.. I mean at least you understand financial statement or final account.
Assets, liabilities, and capital are the basic of accounting, but the goal of learning accounting is so that you know about how to report your company's financial condition/ position to others like shareholders, public, and government. It's your responsibility to them.
